Georgie Thomas

Georgie Thomas is the Managing Director and Head of the U.S. for Choco, a company with a vision to reduce food waste on a global scale by digitalizing the industry toward a more sustainable future.

The company has raised $328 million to date from investors and is used by more than 25,000 restaurants and suppliers in the United States and across the European Union. Georgie oversees Choco’s go-to-market strategy for the United States, as well as all local operations across a team of 100 employees.

Prior to Choco, he spent several years at DoorDash, where he led the account management function for North America. He also spent a year at Tesla, where he launched the company’s largest distribution center at the time. In addition to several years at various startups, Georgie’s career started in finance; he has held associate roles at SJ Investment Company, LS Power, and The Royal Bank of Scotland. He holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BS/BA in Finance from Georgetown University.
