Europe is not just one music market but many different markets from country to country, with a wide range of musical talents. However, the circulation of artists and repertoire across borders is a challenge, both inside and outside of the continent. So how does the EU tackle this through policy and programs, and help European musicians break into the US market? Are there ways for Americans to link up with EU actions promoting music export? This panel will explore how Europeans and Americans could work together to get their respective acts across the ocean, and discuss the public policy framework needed for this to happen.
