2019 is shaping up as another important year for the European Union. In May, a new European Parliament will be elected. This year will also see a new European Commission along with a new European Commission President and new Presidents of the European Central Bank and the European Council. This is the first time in EU history that so many posts and seats will have to be filled in the same year. The EU will have to find its way forward in a new configuration and define its priorities for the coming years. The panelists will explore these and other challenges ahead, as well as the opportunities they present for shaping the future of the European Union.
