Lorena Calvo Cons

Lorena Calvo Cons has a Law Degree by the University of Zaragoza (2003). Her professional specialization is related to public and European law. In 2006 she obtained a Master’s Degree in the European Union, and presented the Master’s thesis “The role of cities within the EU: representation and participation”. In 2007, Lorena completed a DESE (Postgraduate Degree of European Studies) and a few years later, in 2013, a postgraduate programme in Cooperation and International Cultural Management. Since January 2006, she works as International and European Affairs Officer for Zaragoza’s city council dealing mainly with: The European institutions, EU projects, organisation of European campaigns, participating in city networks, town-twinning programmes and cooperation agreements. Moreover, she has had an active role in different international events such as Expo 2008 and the bid for Zaragoza 2016 European Capital of Culture.
