A Hungarian group playing shockingly interesting fusion of 21th century urban folk music and traditional genres, blending Rock n’ Roll, Soul, Blues and their native music. Rackajam is among the most popular and sought-after acts on the Hungarian and Eastern European scene today. Band founder and diatonic harmonica (blues-harp) player György Ferenczi is highly acclaimed across Europe. His distinctive, pure style makes every performance a one-of-a-kind experience.

As a solo artist György had played on some 270 albums in the last 20 years and produced 26 on his own. Seven out of these are played and co-written by the current Rackajam; many have turned to gold or platinum. The band’s multi-instrumentalists play mostly acoustic. While respecting tradition they easily reinvent in the moment.
